I recently started playing the Russian variant here (I admit, not too great...) but I am curious about a rule
The variant page lidraughts.org/variant/russian says that any capture path can be chosen, but in the last example a3:c1:h6 (although not as good as the alternative!) would simply not be allowed on this website (if you set up that position on the board editor)... why is that? Is there some exception where the king after a capture must position itself where he can continue the capture? I thought he could go anywhere behind the captured piece...
