I wonder if the strength of scan (on a given level) depend of the power of my computer or if it is independant.
I play sometimes on a old laptop and i feel scan is weaker.
Right or no ?

Scan does not use any of your computer's CPU (central processing unit), but "thinks" entirely online. I can indirectly relate to the questionable drop of strength demonstrated through Scan. Sometimes, for me, Scan will freeze (even when I refresh) and eventually I will win by time.

OK thank you for this answer. Scan doesn't freeze for me. Maybe i didn't play enough game against level 5. I just play once on my laptop and it plays too agressive with pawns isolated on my side, which it didnt do on my desktop.
